Example bonuses: +2 for the inviter and +1 for the friend, after the first qualifying purchase and staff-issued stamp.

Owners and Managers can enable referrals and set separate bonuses: 1–100 stamps for the inviter and 0–100 for the friend. Members share merchant-specific invite links and track their referral awards in the consumer portal.

What qualifies

1

Invite a new member

The friend joins this merchant through the member’s referral link.
2

Make the first purchase

Authorised staff issue the friend’s first actual stamp.
3

Award the configured bonuses

Both accounts must have verified emails and active memberships with active rewards. The programme and referrals must be active.
Signup alone does not earn stamps. Self-referrals, repeat joins and bonus stamps do not qualify another referral. The staff member cannot be the inviter or friend. Requirements are checked at the first staff-issued stamp, not retroactively later. The merchant’s saved bonus amounts at the qualifying visit apply. A zero friend bonus means only the inviter receives bonus stamps. Copying an invite earns nothing; an existing membership cannot be referred retroactively. Members may reuse their merchant invite link for different new friends.

Set up referrals

Open Referrals from the sidebar. If no programme exists, choose Create referral programme. Otherwise, choose Edit referral programme. Enable referral rewards, set the inviter and friend bonuses, then save to return to the overview. Optional referral settings can also be saved during organisation setup. Pausing referrals prevents new invites and qualification; existing tracking remains. For stamp carryover and the effect of deleting a reward, see Stamps and rewards.

Merchant performance

The overview shows a Live or Inactive badge, the current bonus settings, and all-time counts for friends who joined, successful referrals, and friends awaiting qualification. Joining through an invite is not yet a successful referral: the first qualifying purchase and staff-issued stamp must happen first. An existing programme with no activity shows No referrals yet. If statistics cannot be loaded, Kardy shows Unavailable, not zero. These counts do not track link views or how often an invite was shared. The Successful referrals graph is visible by default and groups referrals by their qualification date over 7, 30 or 90 complete UTC days, or a custom range of up to 366 days, with an optional preceding equal-length comparison. Hover to inspect a day, click a start and end date to highlight a range, or choose View data. Clear or Escape removes the highlight. Today’s partial activity is excluded. An incomplete activity read shows an unavailable message instead of an estimated trend.

Track rewards

Track referral rewards separates friends you invited from invites you joined. It shows award history, not the current spendable stamp balance. Follow Track referral rewards to inspect an entry, or Join through a friend’s invite for the new-member flow.
